Rurouni Kenshin 2 is a two-part film featuring the Juppongatana

If you're a Samurai X fan and waiting for the next installment of the live action film of the anime, here's some news. Rurouni Kenshin 2 will be a two-part film that will tackle the Kyoto arc, that means we'll see Shishio and his Juppongatana (Ten Swords).

This arc is the my favorite in the animated series which I enjoyed watching back in high school. It has a lot of badass characters and furious action scenes.

The first part, (Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire), will open in Japan on AUGUST 1 while the second part, (Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend) will open on SEPTEMBER 13. Around the same time it premiered in Japan last year so hopefully it'll arrive here by December.

Here's a trailer for the first installment of next Rurouni Kenshin.

I'm particularly excited to see who I think is the strongest in the Juppongatana, S JIRSETA, portrayed by Ryunosuke Kamiki.

S jirSeta: "The strong will live and the weak shall die."

To help you remember, he's the kid who always smiles and is also one of the hardest foes Kenshin had to fight. He's faster than Kenshin and also knows Battojutsu, the same technique used by Kenshin.

Here's the rest of the cast for the Juppongatana:

* Ryunosuke Kamiki as S jirSeta

* Ry suke Miura as ChSawagej

* Kenichi Takitas H ji Sadojima

* Tomomi Maruyama as Anji Y ky zan

* Matsu Murata as Usui Uonuma

* Hiroko Yashiki as Kamatari Honj

* Yuuya Hara as Henya Kariwa

* Takao Yamada as Iwanb

* KentarShimazu as Saizuchi

* K ta Yamaguchi as Fuji

Aoshi Shinomori, who was supposed to be on the first film, will finally make his appearance here.

From the looks of it, the sequel is going to be as impressive as the first one which to me is one of the best film adaptation of an animated series. Hayytagal pa.
